Iridology is the study of the iris, or coloured part of the eye. The iris reflects every part of the body. Through various marks, signs and discolouration in the iris, inherited weaknesses and strengths are revealed. Iridology is safe, non-invasive and painless. It can be used as a diagnostic tool to detect predispositions for developing disease the suggestions can be made to prevent disease from developing. It can also assist in understanding personality types, so the treatment can be more targeted to the way the individual will respond both physically and emotionally.

At ADOH the Naturopath will examine your eye with an illuminated magnifying glass. Photographs of the iris may also be obtained with a specially designed camera. These can be downloaded onto the computer for easier explanations and the option of "mapping" the iris where "nurture points" can be more accurately assessed.
